The Carsons spent a majority of their time outdoors. The kids worked on the house and helped their father their father with many other projects. Chad could build and or take apart any time of vehicle. He had a knack for doing hands on projects. . As a child one of Chad’s favorite pass times was fishing. His love of fishing continued into his adult life and he was a stronger believer in catch and release. Chad would be thrilled whenever he caught a large bass but was always happy to throw it back in the water to keep on swimming. Chad could navigate his bass boat out on the choppy river waves like a pro. I knew if Chad was the captain I was safe. Chad took control and helped teach others how to stay safe on his boating adventures. Friends would say Chad didn’t make sense on land, but once he was on water Chad made perfect sense. Being out on the potomac River he was in his element As an adult Chad enjoyed working on his boat, cars, riding on a scooter, building fires, and spending time with friends. Chad loved music, he would listen to the same song over and over, and dance to the beat like no one was watching. Chad encouraged others around him to succeed and he was happy to be at their side and working together. Everyone felt comfortable around him. He would make friends with everyone he met and before you knew they were instantly his best friend hugging him goodbye several times.
Chad’s goofy heart warming smile shall be forever missed. Chad always encourage us to smile. He had a warm loving heart, which was felt by so many.
