Beth A, Witmer

June 15, 1968 - March 12, 2018

God decided He needed another cheerleader for the Pittsburg Steelers section in heaven, so he chose Beth Witmer to fill this spot on March 12, 2018.

Beth was born in State College, PA on June 15, 1968; daughter of Mabel (Grenoble) Witmer of Pleasant Gap, PA. and late Thomas A. Witmer. She is survived by Kim Holsopple and Randy of Huntingdon, PA; Kirk Kauffman and Tina of Bloomsburg, PA and Lisa Kauffman and Mark Brouse of Lewisburg, PA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and a special uncle, Doyle Grenoble and Mary of Millheim, PA. She has treasured friends that were with her to the end, Ralph Porcelli, Laura Robinson and Marie Crockett.

Beth attended State College area high school and then went onto the Art Institute of Philadelphia. After finishing school, she had a long and happy career as a configuration manager. Beth was an avid cat lover, she was predeceased by her cat Blue Witmer and leaves behind her cat Fergus to Ralph.

Beth had many hobbies, cooking, antiquing, music, especially going to concerts and baseball.

At the family request there will be no services, all donations in her name can be made to their local cancer society.

In memory of , Kristin lit a candle

To Beth’s family, I’m so sorry for this news! I just learned of her passing. She was a blessing in my life. Beth and I were really good friends in high school. I remember her liking Rick Springfield (80 rock singer) so much! I wish we could have stayed in touch I lost track of her. Hopefully we will met again. She was a good friend to me.
