Checkout Policy
Checkout is a feature on our website that allows you to make arrangements from our site without creating or using an account. While using Checkout, you will be required to enter the following information: First and last name, billing address, telephone number, credit card information and an email address where we can send order and shipping notifications. This information will not be saved on our site and you will have to re-enter it every time you use Checkout.
Preneed Policy
If you are planning ahead or pre-paying, once we receive your payment you have 30 days to come to the funeral home to sign the Irrevocable Funeral Trust documents required by Virginia Pre-need laws.
Death Certificate
The Death Certificate will be filed electronically (by A Dignified Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc.) and sent to the county health department once the purchaser has provided all of the necessary vital statistics. The Death Certificate must be completed by the funeral home and signed by the attending physician before cremation can takes place.
Privacy Policy
We are committed to ensuring our customer’s privacy. A Dignified Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc. does not sell, exchange or make available to third parties, the email addresses or telephone numbers of customers. We respect your online time and privacy and are committed to maintaining and using this information responsibly. Our website transactions are protected by Secure Socets Layer (SSL).
Shipping Policy
It is our policy to only mail cremated remains in a container suitable for shipping. We will mail by the U.S. Postal Service Registered Mail only. For cost see the General Price List.
Casket Policy
The only warranty on the casket or outer burial container, or both, sold in connection with this service is the express written warranty, if any, granted by the manufacturer. A Dignified Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc. makes no warranty, express or implied, with respect to the casket or outer burial container, or both.
Terms of Payment:
The total account is due and payable before any services are provided. I/we guarantee payment of the charges listed on this statement. In the event of default of payment, I/we agree to pay all reasonable attorney’s fees and court costs. I/we agree that the liability is being personally assumed by me/us and is in addition to the liability imposed by law upon the estate, and this agreement does not constitute a release of liability by my/our signature below. I/we waive my/our homestead exemption with regard to this debt. Acknowledgement and Agreement of the above is hereby made.
Note: If terms of payment are set forth, a Truth-In-Lending Statement is required.
