Evan Michael Bell, 23, of Montclair, Virginia, died unexpectedly on October 15, 2024.
Evan was born in Arlington, VA. He is the son of Scott W. Bell, Silverdale, WA, and Barbara Vaughan, Montclair, VA. Evan graduated from Colgan High School in Prince William County, VA. He previously attended Katzenbach School for the Deaf. Evan had a love for cars and studied automotive mechanics at both schools. He enjoyed several years being in Scouts. In school he participated in wrestling, baseball, football, and soccer. Evan was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. A loving son, brother, and uncle, he always had a smile and free spirit.
Evan is survived by his stepmother, Sherry Bell, his stepfather, Darryl Vaughan, his three sisters, Dana Leigh Bell, SGT Wendy Bell, and Julia Bell; three brothers, Kristopher Bell, Edwin Bell and Victor Rico; three stepsisters, Sarah Tomcala, Kimberly Morris, and Anna Duncan; grandparents, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life for Evan will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024, at 6 pm, at Bethel United Methodist Church, 13506 Minnieville Road, Woodbridge, VA. A reception will follow immediately after the service. Instead of flowers, please consider a donation in Evanโs name to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) or the National Association of the Deaf (NAD).
